UK MODERN SLAVERY ACT & CODE OF CONDUCT

The Modern Slavery Act is a law that passed in the UK in 2015 to address cases of modern slavery. Whilst we are not required to report in accordance with the Modern slavery Act at this time, our internal supply chain management strategy requires that we conduct regular reviews of our supply-chain operations to help identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery. Our supply chain code of conduct forms the basis of our minimum expectations. SUPPLY CHAIN
Where are your clothes manufactured?

We manufacture our products in the suburbs of Guangzhou, China as well as Turkey and the UK. We employ a permanent team based in the Guangzhou where we oversee and manage the production. We thoroughly vetted our factory as we care about the people making our clothes. We strongly believe we have found the perfect factory that offers safe, fulfilling work environment for its employees. We also opt for producing in Asia because we have found that it offers more advance technology options that produce the highly intricate design features (Hand drawn embroideries, appliques, organically sourced fabrics and custom lace). Regular presence in our small network of factories allows us to closely monitor the collection and the way in which it is produced.

Do you audit your factories?

Yes, although we have a two-pronged approach; first and foremost, we manage our factories directly and very closely.  We believe that having a regular presence and a strong working relationship with our suppliers is key to setting & regulate the working standards within our supply chain. Our on-site team outline and manage our brand expectations and help to support the factories in accordance with our Code of Conduct.  In addition, we require our factories to undergo an independent audit every two years in order to ensure that we are keeping up to date with current best practice.
